First Broad-bodied Chaser Drops In.

The settled period of very warm and sunny weather continued today and a first Broad-bodied Chaser appeared in the garden.The immature male was in pristine condition and obviously had not long emerged.He took the time to finish his meal and then moved on.

    Lovely photo. I had my first 2 days ago in the west London suburbs- my earliest sighting by far.

      Thanks for comment CH.Yes,earliest for me here too this year especially as confined to garden! Not the first for the IOW though this year,and also Hairy Dragonflies reported on the wing.
